CSU Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is a panel of Full-time SLC students who act as a voice for their faculty and a representative for the SLC student body. One of six voting positions will be representing their respective faculty. Monthly board meetings decide the CSU budget, student life activities and help facilitate between academics and student life.

Evelyn Herbert
Board Chair
Hi, I’m Evelyn! I’m currently studying Business Administration at St. Lawrence College and plan to graduate in April 2026. Alongside my studies, I completed a Global Learning course in Sustainability Studies and earned certification through the SLC Footprint-SDG Launch Lab program.
I work as a Student Sustainability Assistant at SLC, where I get to support projects that make our campus greener and more sustainable. I’m also an active member of the Footprint Club, and I love volunteering in the community at events like Culture Fest.
I’m passionate about bringing sustainability into business practices and enjoy working with others to create positive change.
Ryan Prokes
Vice Chair
Hi, I’m Ryan Prokes. I’m a third-year Business Administration – Accounting student. I moved to Cornwall in 2023, originally from the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet.
I’d describe myself as caring, confident, humorous, and someone who thrives under pressure. I’m quick to adapt to new environments and enjoy connecting with the people around me.
Outside of college, I love playing chess and pool, going for walks, and just spending time in the community. My time at SLC has been incredibly rewarding — I’ve made great memories here, and I hope to continue being a part of what makes this place so special.

On top of that, that experince gave me the meet many people and made me make many new friends and I am looking forward to do so with this experience. I have good problem solving skills as well as good communication skills and i am commited to what I do. This is what makes me feel confident enough to run for board of directors.
