Taylor Filion
President
​I'm Taylor Filion, the President of the Cornwall Student Union. I'm a locally grown, charismatic, third-year Business Administration Accounting student. I'm always looking for ways to learn and improve. With a positive mindset, strong work ethic, and quick adaptability, I'm ready to take on any challenge. As Student President, I'm committed to serving YOU with integrity, open communication, and a spirit of collaboration. I believe in honest conversations, shared experiences, and creating a campus culture where everyone feels heard and has a good time along the way.
Sam Bennett
Vice President of Student Life
​Hi I’m Sam! I have previously graduated SLC from the Fitness and Health Promotion program, after which I worked as a Personal Trainer for 3 years. I spent most of my time working with children and teens which gave me a growing interest in pursuing a career in teaching. I am currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program, refining my skills, and discovering what motivates children to learn and develop in a healthy way. I hope to continue my learning journey in teachers’ college where my goal is to become a Phys. Ed teacher. To become I good educator, it is important to become a good student first. I have had a great time here at SLC and I hope I can help you to have as much fun as I have!

I'm Pablo, I'm an international student from Mexico and I'm studying Computer Programming. My passions are coding and music. I truly think college should be an amazing experience for everyone, and I'm passionate about helping building it for other students.

Grace Pomainville
Operations Assistant
Hi! I’m Grace Pomainville, a first-year Nursing student with a strong passion for helping others and creating a welcoming, supportive campus environment. As an Operations Assistant, I’m dedicated to keeping things organized, keeping students up to date on events, making sure that the environment is efficient, and student focused. I enjoy connecting with students, gathering feedback, and finding ways to make campus life more inclusive and engaging for everyone.
With a compassionate approach, strong attention to detail, and a drive to learn, I aim to bring both empathy and efficiency to my role. I believe that even small improvements can make a big difference in student experiences. I’m excited to continue learning, collaborating, and contributing to a community where every student feels valued and supported.

Hi, my name is Hussein! I’m a third-year BScN student, and this year I’ll be working as an Operations Assistant. I’ll be here to support you and answer any questions that come up.
