Board Chair

My name is Gabriel Aubry-Morin, but everyone calls me Gabe. Father of a little, not so little 5-year-old boy named Theodore. I'm originally from Montreal, Quebec, however my family has always been on the move since a young age. This allowed to me to grow up and experience life in different countries such as the US, the UK and some of parts of Europe. I am a mature student here at SLC, returning after spending a few years in the construction industry as a handyman and head of the health and safety department. Currently I'm studying in my second year of the Practical Nursing program, but I intend to continue that education afterwards to achieve a career as a Registered Nurse, and later a Nurse Anesthetist. I'm big into sports, specifically the NFL, being a Bishop's U football alumnus myself it's great to watch old teammates and opponents accomplishing their dreams to play in the big leagues. I don't have a lot of free time on my hands between studies, work and being a farther, but when I do I like to go on outdoor activities and I'm always up for lending a helping hand to my friends and family whenever its needed. New to the CSU environment but looking forward to getting more involved at SLC and hopefully making a difference for the better.
